I think there may be some errors in the pattern. Have you had anyone else knit this from this pattern?

Row 32: you have an extra K1 it should read:

k2 yo k1 p3 k5 p3 k1 p4 k4 p5 k across.

Row 44)

k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k3, p3, k3, p3, k2, p4, k2, p2, k5, p2, k across.

Row 46)

k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k4, p5, k2, p5, k1, p4, k2, p2, k5, p2, k across

Row 48)

k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, p5, k2, p5, k1, p4, k1, p4, k across.

Just wondering.

I also noticed there was a problem in the way the dishcloth was turning out.. at row 48 I had to tink 3 rows to fix a problem starting at row 46.
The next one I am going to do I will try the corrections Shelley posted a few lines above.
But, in general, THANK YOU for posting this pattern :) There will be happy Aggies I know at xmas this year :) cheers

okay, so I made another one following the corrections Shelly posted.. and it didn't look quite right so here's what worked for me:

Use Shelly's correction as follows:
Row 32: k2 yo k1 p3 k5 p3 k1 p4 k4 p5 k across.
Row 44: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k3, p3, k3, p3, k2, p4, k2, p2, k5, p2, k across.

For Rows 46, and 48, this is what I did:
Row 46: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k2, p3, k3, p3, k2, p4, k2, p2, k5, p2, k across.

Row 48: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, p5, k1, p5, k1, p4, k1, p4, k3, p4, k across.

I wish I had looked at the comments before I made this dishcloth. After ripping it out several times, I finally realized there is a glitch in the pattern. My changes are as follows:

Row 46: k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k2, p4, k3 p2 k2 p4 k2 p2 k5 p2 k 1 knit across
Row 48: k1 k2tog yo k2tog k1 p4 k3 p2 k2 p4 k2 p4 k3 p2 k2 knit across

Having said this, I am pleased to have found an A & M dishcloth online. I had looked and looked for one, without success.

I would like your permission to make dish cloths for sale at my daughter's church's "Spring Fest." Spring Fest is a fund raiser for her church, Christ the King, in Belton TX.

Ruth, there were 2 different corrections to your Texas A & M dishcloth. Which one is correct? Or does anyone else know which of the 2 posts is correct? I am an inexperienced knitter and need to know which one will work. I am referring to rows 46 & 48. (The corrections posted for rows 32 & 44 seem to agree.)
Thank you.

Can anyone tell me if the original pattern has been corrected, or which set of corrections is correct? I have tried it with all the corrections posted and it is still not coming out right. Being from TX, I have so many Aggie friends and relatives. Would love to make some as gifts.

I made this dishcloth several Christmases ago. I put my corrections in the comment section.
As I recall, the dishcloth came out to my satisfaction. Also in row 32, I think that Shelly is correct about there being an extra k1 in that row.
Hope this helps.
